Founded in 1997, the Prospect       Foundation, an independent, private and policy orientated think tank, is dedicated to the study of Cross-strait       relations, foreign policy, regional security and peace.              It seeks to serve as a research platform linking government agencies, private enterprises and academic institutions       of Taiwan as well as promoting interchange with the leading think tanks of the world. To facilitate its       communications with the international academic community, the Foundation will now issue biweekly newsletters       to the public.
